No visit to Velddrif is complete without a stop at Bokkomlaan. Here you will find the old tradition of drying fish in racks alongside the Berg River. These dried fish are known as bokkoms.
It is a wonderful spot to see a wide variety of birds, from Flamingos to Pelicans. Grab a coffee or special tea, and come sit a while.
